Dakota Poorman

Performing live at Jack’s Upstairs.

Dakota Poorman is a singer-songwriter from Maple Valley, WA and has been making his way throughout the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Texas.  Dakota entertains audiences with his unique style of “Red, White and Blue Collar” Country with his own original music and his interpretation of music by artists such as Eric Church, Hank Williams Jr., Bob Seger, Marshall Tucker Band and Waylon Jennings.

Dakota’s music, combined with his quick witt, humor and high energy style will have you on the dance floor and singing along throughout the night. Whether you are sitting around a roaring fire with some beers and friends or in a room with five, 500 or 5,000 people, Dakota will be able to become friends with everyone of them…when he gets on stage he makes it about the music, the crowd and the fun!

Dakota’s venues include Steel Creek, the Hard Rock Cafe, Draft Choice, Red Dog Saloon, Kickin’ A Saloon, Bootleggers, Mavericks, Bourbon Jacks, the Yella Beak, the famous Tractor Tavern in Seattle, and even the Key Arena (just to name a few). He’s shared the stage with ACES-UP, Blackstone, Crawford & James, Robbie Walden Band and Perry Acker and has opened for acts such as Jon Pardi, Dustin Lynch, Parmalee, Lauren Alaina, Keith Anderson, Micky Guyton and many others.

Dakota has a passion for our US military men and women, law enforcement officers and children. Dakota can be found playing for the troops at the Sea-Tac USO performing for service men and women and their families before shipping off to over-seas assignments, as well as for kids in classrooms and other benefit concerts.
