Boyd Causey & Dalton Bush

Performing live at upstairs at Jack’s.

Born under the shade of a pecan tree in the South Western corner of Georgia, Boyd, the son of a truck driver, was raised on multiple genres of music.  His biggest influence comes from the legends: Hank Sr., Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings.  However, he also pulls influence from more recent acts like Corey Smith, Jason Isbell, and Cody Johnson.  Coming from a musical family, on both sides (Mom & Dad), Boyd was destined for a life in music, it’s in his blood, its apart of who he is; he couldn’t escape it if he tried.  Boyd has an amazing way of taking an idea for a song placing the perfect lyrics along with great melodies that pull you right in.

At a young age Boyd has been touring and playing shows up and down the Eastern Sea Board.  Bars, college towns, and music festivals even on lakes from the top of an 80 foot yacht, he has experienced a lot for a guy his age.  All of this gives him an old soul that’s trapped in a young man’s body and it pours out through his music.

It’s not uncommon for Boyd to lose himself in his live shows, to the point of going through three sometimes four string changes.  “I don’t know what happens I just get so caught up in the moment - when the crowd is having fun & going crazy, I mean,  it’s definitely my drug of choice”  Boyd Causey

Boyd’s songs have appeared on the network television series “Getting Away”, as well as numerous Radio Morning Shows and Websites.
